Easter came early this year and despite the rainy, cold weather, we still had a wonderful holiday. As has been the case the past three years, Matt had Good Friday off while I had Easter Monday off. This didn't really give us a full three-day weekend to go to the beach and since the weather wasn't supposed to be all that great anyways we decided to just stay home. This made it a very relaxing weekend, which was nice, and the sun managed to shine beautifully on Monday, so that was much appreciated.
We enjoyed church and then met up with Matt's parents for lunch. Henry lucked out and the Easter Bunny not only visited him at our house, but also made a trip to grandma's! He can't really eat candy yet, so he got lots of books, bubbles and some small toys. He loved it all.

Henry is really good at walking now. He still defaults to crawling, but as long as you make him stand up, he'll walk, and he does it well. I love seeing him meandering around on two feet. It is a whole new world for him and things that were previously inaccessible, like items on top of the kitchen table or hutch, are now much easier to get to. I've had to do a little more baby-proofing these past few weeks. Walking and talking like a toddler...how did that happen?
