Easter 2014
Womp-womp.That is a little bit what this Easter felt like this year. Henry woke up Saturday morning with the Hand, Foot & Mouth virus. This is one of those preschool illnesses that spreads quickly and infects small children. Turns out, pretty much his whole class has had it this week. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it is not great either. It kept us home from church Easter Sunday and therefore, it really didn't feel a whole lot like Easter. No one even got to wear their Easter outfits. (I'm thinking I should just stop trying to get holiday outfits...it has been working against me this year.) We did have a nice dinner at the Richardson's that evening, and Henry perked up enough to get excited about his Easter basket and to hunt for a few eggs, but otherwise, it was pretty anticlimactic.
